Rose Dedication & Celebration Tea

Dear friends of the Foundation,

On behalf of the Board of Directors of St. Benedict’s Foundation and the Sisters of St. Benedict, we invite you to dedicate a rose in honor of beautiful women in your life, past and present.

The 1^st annual Celebrating Women Campaign of St. Benedict’s Foundation will begin April 1 and continue through May 31, 2008. A donation, in any amount, made to the Foundation during this time provides you an opportunity to thank and honor women who have made a positive difference in your life. With each donation a rose will be dedicated in the name(s) of women being honored. A personalized card will be sent to the honoree acknowledging your thoughtful and generous gift. A receipt will also be sent to you for your tax purposes.

Proceeds from this fundraising event will assist the Sisters of St. Benedict to continue their ministry to women and children through the programs they support. To date, the sisters have granted $3,444,134 to programs that create hope for the future. The program areas and funded amounts are:

  $1,720,014              for child abuse prevention/intervention and counseling
           $1,163,620              for youth-at-risk programs
           $   175,370              for youth and family educational programs
           $   113,200              for healthcare services
           $   103,000              for support of community fundraising events
           $   168,930              for educational scholarships

In order for the sisters to continue their ministry your help is needed.  

At the conclusion of the Celebrating Women Campaign, St. Benedict’s Foundation will host a Rose Dedication and Celebration Tea. At this event the roses will be placed in a beautiful bouquet designed by Pat Poce of Posy Place in Ogden , Utah. The names of the women who have been honored or memorialized will be read and the roses will be dedicated. Traditional tea and refreshments will be served, as well as caffeine-free beverages.  Reservations are required for this event.

Let the women in your life know how much you care by dedicating a rose in their name. You may mail a donation to the St. Benedict's Foundation at 6000 S 1075 E, Ogden, UT 84405.  Please include the name(s) of who is being honored/memorialized along with the name and address of where you would like us to mail the acknowledgement card.  Or you may use our online PayPal payment option by clicking here.  If you are donating online, please also complete our online Donation Form.
